BMW F8X Cobra Nogaro Street Bucket Seat Package
Shell Construction
Nogaro seats are available with several different shell options. The standard shell is constructed of GRP (fibreglass) with a polished finish.
Wet Lay Carbon is another popular option. This applies a layer of carbon fibre to the fibreglass shell, to give you the authentic carbon fibre look without the expense.
Finally, a Full Polished Carbon Fibre shell is available. These look fantastic, and provide a considerable weight saving of approximately 5kg per seat.Side Mounts
These seats can be side mounted, which means they have threaded holes for mounting on the sides of the seat - 2 on each side. To fit them you will need a pair of Side Mount brackets for each seat, we have several versions from Cobra available which you can select in the dropdown box above.
This new, aggressively styled seat features a similar profile to Cobra's technically advanced race seats but minimises the compromises normally associated when fitting race seats to a regularly used road car. The side and shoulder bolsters offer great levels of body support but allow easy entry and exit and the base profile allows the seat to be mounted very low in the car if that is your favoured driving position.
Designed to be used with a standard lap and diagonal seatbelt without modifications. Harness slots also allow for a 4 or 6 point harness if you venture out onto track at the weekend. Please note there is an additional crutch strap harness slot in the base of the seat accessable through the gap between the knee and base cushion.
The Nogaro is available in two shell materials, GRP and Carbon.
The Nogaro has been designed from a clean sheet of paper to appeal to owners of a wide variety of sports, classic and GT cars. Although it is built to Cobra's exacting motorsport standards, this is a seat that is designed to be as much at home on the school run as it is on the Nordschleife. Despite being very supportive, the design has also been carefully balanced to ensure long distance touring comfort and easy entry and exit.
